❄️SCHOOL CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT❄️
Due to the potential for winter weather and hazardous road conditions, Cedarville School District will be closed on Thursday January 9th.
Stay safe and warm, Pirates!
Please note this also includes Cedarville’s After School Program.

Good afternoon CES families! We just want apologize for any confusion and want to clarify the phrase "merit day" from our previous message. CES does not have true merit days, but in the past, we've referred to days at the end of the semester (high school semester test days) as "merit days". To clarify, school will be in session on Friday; however, our Christmas events, including Christmas caroling and Christmas stations will take place tomorrow, December 19. Friday is considered a regular school day with no events or celebrations scheduled. Again, we apologize for any confusion we may have caused from our previous message.

Good afternoon CES Families! Our popcorn orders are IN! Please contact the office about your popcorn if you haven't received a call. Congratulations to Kayden in Kindergarten and Mrs. Lawson's class for selling the most popcorn!
We have a very busy and FUN day planned for Tomorrow, Thursday, December 19th! Wear your PJs and make plans to join us!
8:00-8:15 am: SAIL Assembly
8:15-8:40 am: Christmas Carols with Mrs. Butler
8:45 am-11:10 am: Christmas Stations!
Lunches will begin at 11:20 am for those planning to stay after stations.
The Christmas Store will be open from 10:30 am-1:00 pm for those who bring money to shop.
Friday is our "merit" day! We hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and we will see you again on Monday, January 6th!

CES Parents:
Tomorrow is the LAST day to turn in popcorn fundraiser forms! The Christmas Store will also be open tomorrow. Classes will have a scheduled time to shop. Please send labels and money in an envelope in the morning.

The Homecoming pep rally and parade is next Friday, September 13th. The pep rally will be held in the CHS gym this year, so the parade participants will meet up in the visitor parking lot at the football field. CES will begin loading buses at 12:45 pm. Buses will park in the HS student parking area. Little League parade participants will need to be picked up by their coach/sponsor at the HS student parking lot once buses are unloaded.
A list of EVERY student participating with Little League needs to be turned in to the CES office no later than Tuesday, September 10th. Every coach or cheer sponsor will need to turn in their own list. This can be done by turning it in to the office or by emailing it to Mrs. Jennifer or Dr. Cook. After this deadline, this list will be the only list used to allow students to go with their coach or sponsor to walk in the parade. This is for the safety of our students and helps us know which students should be on campus. If a student is left off the list, they will have to be checked out by a parent prior to 12:00 pm.
The parade will travel up the road between CES and CMS and pass by CMS first. Floats will then drive toward the high school and around the island. Students will be lined up outside CMS, CHS, and the island. Everyone will immediately enter the CHS gym for the pep rally after the parade. CES Little League Football participating in the parade will join their class at the island to walk to the gym together. Little League Cheer will stay with their sponsor until they perform and then will be sent to the Visitor stands to join their class. We will begin loading buses at 2:20 pm to return to CES. All students will need to join their classes prior to this time.
If parents would like to check out their student prior to the parade/pep rally, please do so through the CES office by 12:00 pm. Parents may also check students out in the CES office after students return to CES from parade/pep rally.
Homecoming is always so much fun for our students, staff and community! We want to ensure our students' safety and keep everything as organized as possible. Thank you for understanding and for your support!
